christmas eve.

i've been thinking a lot lately about my life and how much it's changed and how much i've changed over the past year. i swear on my life that at age 23, this year was my turning point. i've become an individual instead of being known only as a part of a group, click, pack, mobb. i think i've always yearned for that acknowledgement. not to say that being part of a group is a bad thing, but we all want to strive on our own, make our own way. you feel more accomplished when that happens.

the two honorable mentions in my life of 2008:

Arjay (my older, wiser brother)
"Thank you for being you. Our Blood is thicker than water. You inspire me to strive to my fullest potential. Thank God for an older brother like you. You're such a BAG sometimes but i love you guy, haha."

Zuleika Ann (my sister, my dearest friend)
"I thank God we crossed paths. I am truly blessed to know such a great person like you. Coincidentally, we both have "Z's" in our first names, both born on the 9th, both have the same personalities and of course both great individuals in our own rite. 2040 won't be the same, you're irreplaceable... sings: "I HATE THIS PART RIGHT HERE." much love B."
